FROM THE LEGALTECH FUND
Dear TLTF Community,
It’s been an eventful Q1 at The LegalTech Fund. Our team attended Legalweek and The National Trial Layers Summit where we connected with friends and founders, new and old.
We launched a video podcast, Legal(tech) Briefs and hosted our first four episodes with industry leaders:
🎧 Ep. 1 Mark Dorman - CEO of Elite Technology
🎧 Ep. 2 Avaneesh Marwaha - CEO of Litera
🎧 Ep. 3 Matt Sunderman - CEO of Harbor
🎧 Ep. 4 Mitch Zuklie - Chair of Orrick
We completed 5 investments this quarter and 3 of our companies raised subsequent funding rounds. We’re thrilled with the performance of our portfolio to date, with over half of our 68 portfolio companies raising subsequent capital after our initial investment. A new location for the 4th annual TLTF Summit was announced and we are excited to host this event again by heading west. Keep an eye on the TLTF Summit LinkedIn page to stay up-to-date and know when Startup Showcase applications open.
Read on for more.
In gratitude,
The TLTF Team

TLTF at Legalweek

Our team had a great time at Legalweek and Zach had fun participating on a panel about emerging technologies in RegTech and FinTech.
"So many exciting legaltech solutions coming to life at Legalweek this year—especially those putting real AI into real workflows. It was great to be on the ground with our investment team and the broader legaltech community!"
- Gordon Crenshaw, TLTF Partner

TLTF Team Offsite
The whole team got together in January for quarterly planning (with a side of margaritas). We’re looking forward to when we can be together in person again!
